We exist to help our members be better healthcare consultants to their clients. We do that by offering ongoing education in the business of healthcare, and by bringing members together to tap into their expertise, form friendships, and refer clients to each other.
Why Join Us?

Every professional association can say the same thing, so what makes us different?
- Our members represent a range of professions. Where else, in one organization, can you meet and learn from experienced consultants in accounting, finance, HR, IT, billing and RCM, credentialing, training and education, marketing, law, and others?
- Our educational content is also broad. Our conference agendas mirror our members’ range of professions. So do our webinars, our podcast episodes, and our articles, all of which are driven by our members.
- Our Listserv. A listserv is an email list of all members. Does a client problem have you stumped? Ask for advice on the listserv. Did a client ask for a service you don’t offer and you want to get them into capable hands? Send out a request on the listserv. Have an industry update you think other members should know about? Tell them with the listserv. It’s as easy as sending any other email, it’s real time, and you’ll get responses usually on the same day.
Competitors to us are hard to find. We’ve looked!
Most other organizations focus on their own expertise, for example, the AICPA for accountants. Many of our members belong to one of those organizations, but our members also want to be well-rounded. They know that a well-rounded consultant understands the business of their clients’ practices holistically, not only in their own area. Many members promote their membership when competing for new clients. Some take it even further and earn the CHBC Certification.
What all of our members believe is that the NSCHBC is a great way to get exposed to the business of healthcare.
